Driver: Parts Delivery KIA Edenvale

Edenvale, Gauteng
Purpose
To provide an effective delivery and collection of parts service as per agreed standard operating procedures and legislative requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • 0 – 1 year experience in a similar environment
  • Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates with NQF Level 04
  • Light Vehicle Driver License

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROCESS AND GOVERNANCE
Deliver on agreed performance targets according to set procedures and service level agreements.
Execute work in line with governance and compliance processes.
Identify and apply known solutions to operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues.
Record and report on work activities to provide timely and accurate information for decision making in area of accountability.
Execute driving tasks and activities in compliance with legal rules and regulations.
Deliver and collect goods and customers at required destinations in a safe and proper manner.
Ensure that vehicles are in an excellent operating condition and report non-compliance to immediate superior.
Inspect parcels/parts before and after delivery to ensure parcels/parts are not damaged and packaging is still intact.
Keep relevant documentation for reference and proof of delivery.
Report defects immediately to relevant person.

FINANCE
Execute work activities effectively and efficiently in order to maximise efficiencies and reduce unnecessary delays in achieving goals of the office.

CLIENT/CUSTOMER
Deliver services and/or products that create a culture which aims to meet or exceed customers’ expectations in the business.
Deliver work activities effectively to satisfy customers.
Maintain good customer relations with customers and suppliers.

PEOPLE
